Research forms the foundation of the work carried out by the DIL (German Institute of Food Technology e.V.).<\/strong> As an applied research institute, we develop scientifically sound solutions to current and future challenges facing the food industry. Our research activities combine expertise in food technology, biochemistry, and analytics with engineering know-how and digital methods. As an international research institution, the DIL funds a significant portion of its work through grants from the European Union, the federal government, and the state of Lower Saxony.
