International Summer University on Food Technologies (Undergraduate/Graduate)

The International Summer University (ISU) is a three-week intensive program taught in English and is open to international students from around the world and to students at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?  

You will receive an introduction to the European and German food markets, including an overview of the latest trends in the food industry. You will learn about various types of conventional food processing and new alternative technologies based on the latest research findings. In addition to lectures, you’ll have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned and put it into practice in small groups through hands-on activities, such as sensory tests, lab work, and analytical methods. On weekends, you’ll have the chance to participate in the cultural program, which includes trips to Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris featuring guided city tours and visits to historic sites.
