Networks and Partnerships Through Strategic EU Alliances

Strategic EU Networks for Research Excellence and Sustainable Knowledge and Technology Transfer

Networks and strategic partnerships in the field of research and innovation are essential for remaining competitive and sustainable both across Europe and globally. Research and development require ideas, resources, and targeted support—particularly in the form of grants. DIL Netzwerke plays a key role in this area, with a focus on the EU and Europe: We secure grants and build networks, collaborations, and alliances, which we actively expand and maintain.

In this way, we strengthen scientific expertise and excellence and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology. DIL Networks covers a broad range of responsibilities and works closely with the other scientific departments at DIL. We foster strategic European alliances and partnerships through established initiatives in which we actively participate or provide advisory support.

Start-up support at DIL combines expertise, networking, and assistance to foster successful spin-offs in Europe

The DIL Innovation Hub serves as a hub for networking and supporting startups in the food sector. Here, we support and strengthen spin-offs across Europe, drawing on the full range of expertise that DIL provides for this purpose. The transformation of our food systems also requires high-performing new networks and partnerships.

It can only succeed through interdisciplinary collaboration, the integration of different disciplines, and the involvement of a diverse range of stakeholders from academia and the professional world. Ongoing research activities in the field of food system science are conducted by the Networks Division.
